LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Scouts Australia is a recognised training provider. Becoming a Leader is challenging, fun and a great way to meet people, obtain new skills and gain qualifications. A good way to start out is to become a parent helper or parent committee member and get a feel for scouting by just getting involved. The next step is to talk to the Group Leader about leadership and training opportunities to suit your personal situation. Cooroy Scout Group welcomes part time and full time leaders who are enthusiastic, organised and fun to be around. New leaders need to adhere to our Code of Conduct and be prepared to meet the training requirements.
