JOEY SCOUTS 6 yrs to 8 yrs

CUB SCOUTS 8 yrs to 10.5 yrs


Weekly Meetings: Thursday afternoons 4:15 pm to 5.45 pm

Cub Scouts form a “pack” and the general theme of the section is based on Kipling’s Jungle Book. Each Cub Pack is divided into “sixes”, so named because each ‘six’ will have 6 Cubs in it. Cubs work through their badges with age appropriate adventure mixed in. The badge system gives your Cub the skills to confidently move up into Scouts. A Cubs goal is to receive their Grey Wolf

SCOUTS 10.5 yrs to 14.5 yrs


Weekly Meetings: Thursday evenings 6pm to 8pm

 Your child will join a patrol which is a group of 6 to 8 scouts. Each patrol has a Patrol Leader and an assistant patrol Leader. Scouts is all about learning to become self-managed while having fun, like hiking, camping, canoeing and abseiling. Scouting, through the patrol and badge system teaches responsibility and leadership while getting them ready for the big adventure awaiting in Venturers. A Scouts ultimate goal is to receive their Australian Scout Medallion

VENTURER SCOUTS 14.5 yrs to 18 yrs


Weekly Meetings: Monday afternoons 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Venturers choose their own adventure depending on their interests, all they need to do is take up the challenge, from abseiling, caving or even white water kayaking. Venturers are mentored and generally supervised but are self - governed with their own constitution.   They run their own program and set their own goals. Their ultimate goal is to get the Queen Scout Award
